Jiří Skuhra graduated from the University of West Bohemia. Since 2000, he worked in Konsolidační banka (Consolidation Bank), where he participated in the restructuring of important export-oriented companies, among others Škoda, a.s., the establishment of ŠKODA HOLDING, a.s. company, debt management, management of relations among debtors in the framework of signed Standstill Agreement and implementation of individual group assets. Later, he worked in several positions in Česká exportní banka, a.s. (Czech Export Bank), and finally as a director of export and project financing (2004 to 2009) specialising in investment and project financing, particularly structuring of transactions and their treaty reinsurance. Simultaneously, he represented the bank in negotiations with clients under a special monitoring regime due to increased risk rate of business cases implemented by them.
