Marek Dlouhý graduated from the Faculty of Law, Charles University (1996), and the Faculty of International Relations, University of Economics in Prague, International Trade and International Policy and Diplomacy (1997). He was awarded a Doctorate at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, in 2002. Before he started working at EGAP, he had externally co-operated with the Foreign Department of the Office of the President of the Czech Republic in 1996. When he started working at EGAP, he worked in the claim settlement department for 2 years and then he moved to the debt collection department and he has been head of this department since 1999. He is a specialist in solving international business problems, insurance and export financing and legal issues connected with international business; he is experienced in negotiations and release of problematic claims in Russia and the CIS countries, former Yugoslav countries, India, Mongolia, EU, Canada, USA, etc.
