Curriculum Vitae - Zdeněk Zajíček

Zdeněk Zajíček graduated from the Faculty of Law, Charles University in Prague, and then he worked in the public sector and legal profession. Between 1996 and 1998 he was a deputy of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Chamber of Deputies, and a member of the Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs, the Public Administration and Environment Committee and the Mandate and Immunity Committee. Then he practiced law. Between 1999 and 2002 he was a director of the Magistrate of the City of Prague. In the following three years he worked as a lawyer. From September 2006 he was a Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs for public administration, informatics, legislation and archival science. From December 2009 he worked as a Deputy Minister of Justice for projects. Currently, he is a Deputy Minister of Finance. He is a member of the Administrative Council of the Health Insurance Company of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Czech Republic, the ČEZ Foundation, a founder member of the eStat.cz - EFEKTIVNÍ STÁT association and a president of the eGON ACADEMY public association. He has been a chairman of the supervisory board of CEVRo Institute, School of Political Studies, since 2006. He is a chairman of the supervisory board of the Czech Export Bank.
